The bestiary section of the in-game journal does not include the full set of attributes of the enemies encountered in the game. Therefore, the full attributes of enemies are generally unspecified in-game. A limited exception exists for creatures that are obtainable as followers, since the followers page shows the complete set of attribute for the creature. For creatures that cannot be obtained as followers, players have used estimation techniques to derive estimates of their attributes.
Wiki policies and guidelines[]
As specified by the policies and guidelines of this wiki, attribute estimates may be included in articles, so long as they are independently verifiable. For creature data pages, estimated attributes must be listed separately from attributes specified in-game in order to avoid conflation with in-game stats; they must also be accompanied by the Stat estimates notice.
Hand-to-Hand, Ranged, Parry, and Dodge[]
Hand-to-Hand, Ranged, Parry, and Dodge can be estimated based on the rules of the combat system. For example, the rule for the attack resolution of physical attacks is the following:
- A physical attack hits if Random(1 to 200) + Attack's H2H > 100 + Defender's Parry
Based on the above combat rule, the H2H of a creature can be estimated in one of the following ways:
Threshold observations[]
If a hero has a Parry of 220 and parries all of the opposing creature's attacks over a sufficiently large number of test samples, then it can be inferred that the creature's H2H is not higher than 120. Therefore, by repeating the trials with lower Parry values, it is possible to find the exact H2H value of the creature, as being 100 less than the Parry value of the hero at which the Hero is no longer immune to the creature's attacks.
Attack resolution percentages[]
Assume that a hero has a Parry of 150 and parries 70% of the creature's attacks over a sufficiently large number of test samples. Since the random factor "Random(1 to 200)" is uniformly distributed, it would result in a value that is 140 or lower 70% of the time. Therefore, the creature's H2H can be estimated as being (100 + 150) - 140 = 110.
Physical damage[]
The overall damage output of creatures can be easily ascertained by observing the range of damage that the hero receives while wearing no armor. However, because actual damage is dependent on both the creature's strength and weapon damage range, it is not generally possible to determine which portion of the damage output is attributed to weapon damage, and which portion is attributed to strength. For the estimated damage output of a creature, it is preferable to clarify whether the damage range includes only weapon damage, or also includes strength together with weapon damage.

Magic-related attributes can be estimated using methods analogous to those described above for physical combat. A creature's magic resist can be determined in a manner similar to that which is described above for parry or dodge. However, the estimation of other magic-related attributes is complicated by the fact that intelligence affects the final spell damage (in conjunction with the spell's nominal spell damage) and also affects the attack resolution of spells (in conjunction with the spell's level).
