Hellfire Mountains South is the southern region of the Hellfire Mountains. This region may be accessed from the Southern and Western Paths. This mountain region is important for the variety of items that it drops, some of which are used in schematics.

- Dragon Pit: 4-8 Dragons. Gives a bit (but a lot from the defeated dragons) of gold and 2 various items, some of them:
- Ruins (Gnomes, Barbarians, Rogues, Elves and Rangers only): Flowering Sporeweeds and a Doppleganger

- Mystic Quiver (Ranger, Elf, and Rogue only)
