Vitality (VIT) is a hero attribute.
Effects[]
- Hero's HP – The vitality attribute determines the maximum number of Hit Points (HP) a Hero has.
- The exact formula for this is:
- MAXHP=[starting HP] + floor ([Modified Vitality] / 2 * [hero level]) ,
- where
- ([Modified Vitality] / 2 * [hero level]) is truncated down to the nearest integer (i.e., the "floor" function)
- [Modified Vitality] is total vitality total after all items and status effects are taken into account

- Vitality determines the number of Hit Points that a hero will gain when healing in a Temple, Inn, or other resting place.
Increasing vitality[]
Permanent increases[]
- Hero classes with vitality as their primary attribute (Barbarian, Warrior of Discord) gain +1 vitality every two levels.
- Classes with low initial vitality can train vitality to up to 12 at the sauna in the Elven Valley.
- The Aura of Health grants +4 vitality, among other benefits.
- The quests "The Gnome Collector Part II" and "Thallis Fairgrounds" provide options for increasing any one of the five primary attributes.
- The library in the Ruins of Thallis provides the option of increasing any of the five primary attributes, up to three times.
